Tenders are invited for the maintenance dredging works in Q1/Q2 of 2023 to maintain its advertised trade depths and provide safe navigation for vessels to and from the Port. Furthermore, assistance is to be provided to community and fishery users. These works will be undertaken by Marine License (ML14/19) and under the Port’s Harbour Act. The method of dredging is likely to be by Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger, supported by bed-levellers, water injection dredging and survey vessels. Approximately 15% of the works must be complete by 31st March 2023.
