4. Description: This is a Voluntary Transparency Notice only to advise of the intent to award a contract for the procurement of NEMO Underwater Battery-Operated Handheld tools supplied by Northern Diver International Ltd.

Northern Diver International Limited are the only Supplier that can NATO codify these NEMO handheld tools through direct purchase from the OEM and UK Distributor. Northern Diver International Limited are the PRIME Contractor for SALMO Contract 7000010240 for the Procurement and reliability In-service support of Diving Support Equipment (DLS-r).

This procurement will ensure interoperability with the current equipment, other Armed Forces and provide UK certificates of conformity. By codifying and serialising the tools this will enable this procurement of tools to be subsumed into the equipment database (Stores) for future traceability, repairs and maintenance.
