Engagement process description
Following receipt of responses to the RFI (the RFI information can be found by clicking on the ‘view related notices’ section), the Authority is planning to hold 1-2-1’s with industry to explore in further detail areas as it looks to develop its strategy.
The 1-2-1 sessions will take place over teams with the agenda to be confirmed. A response to the RFI is not a prerequisite to being able to participate in the 1-2-1’s, however it would be helpful to the Authority to have RFI responses if you have not completed one yet.
To register your interest please contact us via email using the details in the Contracting Authority section of this notification. In your email, please provide a primary point of contact as well as information on your companies capabilities and relevant experience of delivering similar capabilities.
Places are limited and therefore the Authority reserves the right to cap the number of engagements.
As a reminder of the early market engagement completed to date:
An Industry Engagement Day for the Core Applications and Management Service (CAMS) RFI was held on 28 January 2026 via Microsoft Teams. The purpose of the event was to provide an overview of the requirement and give potential suppliers an opportunity to ask questions. For transparency and to support all suppliers in preparing their responses, the presentation slides, event transcript, and Q&A from the session are now available at the following link:
Defence Digital has also published the recording of the Industry Day. The session provides valuable insight into the programme’s objectives, timelines, and approach, helping to break down barriers to entry and ensure all interested suppliers—large or small—have equal access to the information shared on the day.
By making this recording openly available, we’re committed to enabling a broader and more diverse market to contribute to shaping CAMS and to ensuring an inclusive and fair procurement process. The Industry Day recording can be found here:
As requested during the event, we have also created a Supplier Register, which enables suppliers to view the contact details of those who attended and may support collaboration / partnerships for this RFI; this can be accessed via the following link:
