Package 27; Lineside Equipment Cabinets (MMC)
Package 27 Lineside Equipment Cabinets scope associated to contract HRS02 consists of manufacture, production and supply of the Lineside Equipment Cabinets for the open route of the railway, the total route being circa 180km in length, inclusive of;
Fabrication and supply of cabinets to house lineside equipment
Off site (Factory) installation of equipment within the cabinets inclusive of interconnecting cabling and terminations
Off-site testing of equipment
Costain require a supplier to manufacture and supply only of the lineside equipment cabinets. Costain and HS2 are looking for innovative and smart solutions that provide benefits in the following key areas.

Whole Life Cost
Carbon Efficiency
All the innovation and design development must be accompanied with a rigorous approach that the technical requirements are met. Including testing where necessary. The scope of manufacture, production and supply will include the following:
Fabrication and supply of cabinets to house lineside equipment
Off site (Factory) installation of equipment within the cabinets inclusive of interconnecting cabling and terminations
Off-site testing of equipment
Full details of the scope and specifications will be provided to the successfully shortlisted suppliers. Suppliers should be aware of the scale of the HS2 project and are to assess their internal capabilities to able to carry out the intended scope of works prior to completing the expression of interest.
