4. Description: The awarding authority invites suitably qualified companies/agents to tender for the provision of Ships and Boats to participate in the Foyle Maritime Festival 2024. The festival will take place over 4 days next summer, running from Thursday 27th until Sunday 30th June 2024. Renowned as one of the largest maritime events to occur in Ireland and the UK, this bi-annual event attracted approximately 175,000 attendees when it last occurred in 2022, appealing to local, regional, national and international visitors. Council will require all of the ships and boats procured for the festival to engage with the festival audience for 6 hours daily between 12 noon and 8pm. This engagement will differ from vessel to vessel. This tender has divided ships and boats into three Lots. Please refer to the CfT documents for further detail.
