Consultant engaged to develop marine energy resource assessments and project development course.
The Caribbean Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency has embarked on a marine energy capacity building project to build the capacity of government technocrats, utility engineers, regulators, academics, students, and project developers on designing and implementing marine energy projects in the Caribbean.
The project plans to achieve an introductory course to enhance the capacity of regional stakeholders in marine energy resources. The key activities will be to:
design an online course on marine energy resource assessments and project development
produce course content e.g. presentations, infographics, videos, notes, etc.
make the course available within the CARICOM Energy Knowledge Hub (CEKH) and across the Regional Universities Network (RUN)
