Consultancy is needed for an assessment to identify the skills and knowledge needed for nationally determined contributions implementation.
Consultancy is wanted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to:
carry out stocktaking of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) implementation progress
to inform NDC enhancement to carry out more ambitious climate action
You should be able to supply consultancy to support Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, St Vincent and the Grenadines.
You will need to:
at inception and based on consultation with key actors, describe the work that needs to be carried out
conduct an institutional capacity assessment to identify critical skills and knowledge gaps for NDC implementation
define a capacity development strategy based on a multidisciplinary and inclusive approach
assess progress toward NDC targets
use the NDC progress assessment to prepare an analytical framework which gives the mitigation and adaptation potential
