II.1.4) Short Description: DfE wishes to procure a new construction framework to support its educational infrastructure delivery programmes and other initiatives. This will include the delivery programme and buildings for schools, academies, university technical colleges, sixth form colleges, further education colleges and other educational facilities. The construction framework may also be used by the other contracting authorities referred to in VI.3) (Additional Information) for the purposes of delivering their requirements (given the nature of those contracting authorities) in terms of wider publicly funded buildings in England which may include (but shall not be limited to) health, law and order, military, civic and other community facilities. For such non-education schemes, framework users shall be permitted to include their own employer’s requirements and specification in place of the output specification.
