The Medical Director of Defence Medical Services has been announced as a keynote speaker Defence Procurement, Research, Technology & Exportability (DPRTE) 2020, which will be held at Farnborough International Exhibition Centre on 3 September.

DPRTE 2020 will see Air Commodore Rich Withnall, Medical Director of the UK Defence Medical Services deliver a speech at the event’s Keynote Arena. He will be joined by a range of the leading and most influential speakers from across the defence procurement and supply chain marketplace including Andrew Forzani, Chief Commercial Officer of the MOD; Ruth Todd, Commercial Director of the Submarine Delivery Agency; and Colonel Tim Collins OBE, who will deliver a motivational and leadership address.

Defence Medical Services (DMS) is made up of the Navy Medical Service, Army Medical Service, the Royal Air Force Medical Service and the Joint Medical Group (JMG).

Its primary role is to promote, protect and restore the health of the UK armed forces to ensure that they are ready and medically fit to go where they are required in the UK and throughout the world.

DPRTE is the UK’s premier event for procurement and supply chain in the defence and security sectors. The annual event, which is now in its seventh year, brings together government departments and agencies, trade associations and businesses of all sizes whose products and services could be relevant to the whole spectrum of the defence and security sectors.
