The Defence Infrastructure Organisation’s (DIO) Future Defence Infrastructure Services (FDIS) Programme will be hosting a briefing event to provide details on plans for the procurement of four Regional FM contracts, four Regional Housing Maintenance contracts and a National Housing Management contract. Procurement will be initiated in June through the Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) FM Marketplace framework, to replace the current contractual arrangements which are due to expire in late 2019 / early 2020.

DIO plays a vital role in supporting Defence by leading and managing the delivery of what the Armed Forces need to live, work, train and deploy on operations. We advise, buy, manage and assure the delivery of infrastructure services across the defence estate in an affordable and sustainable way.

The Regional contracts will provide a vital service supporting the Armed Forces through the provision of predominantly hard facilities management services required to support a fit-for-purpose estate, including barracks, airfields, Service family housing and other defence facilities in the UK and Northern Ireland.

The scope of the National Housing Management contract will include the provision of the full range of occupancy management services required to administer the allocation and occupation of MOD housing (c45,000 properties in the UK and NI) in accordance with MOD policies.

It is anticipated the morning session will focus on the Regional FM contracts and the afternoon session will cover the Regional Housing Maintenance and National Housing Management contracts.

If you are interested in attending please email the FDIS Programme at DIOSDFPG-FDIS GroupMailbox@mod.gov.uk no later than midday on Thursday 3 May 2018. Please provide the names and company details of the people who would plan to attend. As carparking spaces can be limited, attendees are requested to car-share where practicable.
