Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Mid & West Wales Fire & Rescue Service intends to award a Framework Agreement for the supply of Chemical Protective Clothing, including suits where the use of respiratory protective equipment is an essential element of the survivability of the wearer. This is to include but not limited to chemical biological and nuclear (CBRN) protection. The framework shall include provision for maintenance, repair, refurbishment, training and accessories related to the suits.
The framework will be available for use by UK Fire and Rescue Services, Central Government Departments & their Agencies , Non-Departmental Public Bodies, Local Authorities (and their ALMOs) in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland; the Department for Communities and Local Government and the Ministry of Defence (including any successors,); NHS; Police Authorities; Education Establishments; UK University Purchasing Consortia (including NEUPC); Charitable organisations; UK Airport authorities, the Civil Aviation Authority and the members of the Airports Operators Association, UK Petroleum Industries Association, the Tank Storage Association and other bodies associated with public safety.<a href=
