DCS has agreed a five-year, $40m contract to support the US Naval Research Laboratory’s work to develop an ISR sensor technology. The company will conduct studies with the ultimate goal to provide a system that will work to help intelligence analysts manage workloads as well as increase operator efficiency and target detection and tracking capacity. DCS plans to integrate soft biometrics data, human detection, segmentation algorithms and machine learning tools into the project.
