North Devon Joint Crematorium Committee is a joint committee set up pursuant to the Local Government Act 1972 between North Devon District Council and Torridge District Council with North Devon District Council being the lead authority for the management of North Devon Crematorium.Contract is for 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years at the council’s discretion.

The Contract is open to the following organisations.
1) Insurers, being registered with the FCA, proposing to provide the requested service and insurance listed in Annex B with the Council.
2) Insurance Brokers or Managing General Agents who are submitting a bid which is fully and exclusively supported by Insurers who are registered with the FCA and authorised to transact such business as detailed in Annex B. When submitting their bid, the name, identity and the exclusive quotation basis must be provided and clearly identified for all covers being tendered.
