Section II: Contract Details
2.1 Title: Inverclyde Royal Hospital – Heat Recovery Batteries & Frost Coils Upgrade – Phase 3
2.2 Description of the goods or services required: The project consists of the final phase (Phase 3) of the replacement of Existing Heat Recovery Batteries and Frost Controls of which the new coils were installed in 20012/13) – Level D, with the remainder of the system being installed and set back to work, primarily on the heating mode carried out in 2014, with the provision left for thesystem to accept a chiller unit along with the necessary mechanical and electrical systems to be installed at a future point in time which would allow the cooling mode to be made operational, which encompasses the works of the project (Phase 3).Works will be within Levels D, C, B and A, the areas as generally detailed on the project layout drawings.The project works will consist of all builderswork, mechanical and electrical systems associated with striping out of the old redundant pipework, redundant chiller plant and installing new pipework, controls, power supplies etc.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Public Contracts Scotland Web Site at buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility. 5.1 Additional InformationThis contract is being project managed by Chris O’Reilly from WGM Consulting Engineers on 0131 653 6966 (mobile 07855099069) who should answer any direct questions about the drawings or technical specification. Local estates knowledge and co-ordination will be with Pat Morrison on 07825193554 who will organise a site meeting to visit the respective plant rooms. There will be 1 visit only planned.Due to the tight timescales to complete this project and to negate downtime on NHS service delivery NO EXTENSIONS to the deadline date will be given(SC Ref:463183)The Contracting Authority does not intend to include a sub-contract clause in this contract.
