Summary of Requirements / Description of Work: Military Research & Technology. The Authority intends to conduct an Industry Briefing Day at Portsdown Technology Park on 14th March 2017 to cover the intentions for the forthcoming RN Information Warrior 2017 (IW17) and the potential for any subsequent events relating to Information Warfare development activities.

IW17 will predominantly focus on demonstrating progress to date of already existing projects and programmes across 5 themes: Command, Control, Communications & Information Management (C4 IM), Information Exploitation (IX), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cyber and Electronic Activity and Space (CEMA & Space) and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR).

It is anticipated that this brief will be directed at stakeholders already involved with IW17. However should any other company or organisation feel that they would like the opportunity to attend, please contact: Cdr Pauline Aird RN (DESTECH-TechOfficeMaritime@mod.uk) or Mr Jason Lee (DESTECH-TechOfficeMaritime1@mod.uk) for further details and provide an indication of reasons for attendance. Any companies having already attended the Industry Briefing Day 14th February 2017 in London or already in receipt of an invitation to this specific event need not respond to this notification.

This Request for Information does not constitute an invitation to tender for any current or future requirement and the Authority reserves the right to limit attendance.
