4. Description: The current contract for the provision of catering at The Awarding Authority is due to expire on 31st March 2017.
The Awarding Authority require a cafeteria-style facility to meet the needs of its staff and also hospitality associated with meetings, conferences and training events.
The current Headquarters site has approximately 250 staff and the current catering provision is provided by an external contractor with no subsidy.
This requirement is subject to the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006.
The aim of this process is to select a company to provide a facility offering refreshments to staff and visitors in the cafeteria area together with drinks for meetings and events and hospitality buffets.
