4. Description: Wildlife preservation services. Research services. Research and development consultancy services. Research consultancy services. Each of the existing 39 Local Wildlife Sites and the 10 Local Wildlife Sites that were de-selected during the 2007 Review should be visited at an appropriate time in the year to assess the presence and quality of those species or habitats for which it was initially designated, and any other UK or Essex BAP species or habitats that are now present at the site. The assessment should consider whether the Local Wildlife Site has improved or declined, and whether it should continue to be identified as a Local Wildlife Site. The management comments included within the 2007 Review should be updated for those Local Wildlife Sites that are retained.
