4. Description: The Awarding Authority is the foremost not-for-profit organisation dedicated to encouraging singing for young people aged 0?25 in Specified Location. Established in 1996 as a single choir, the organisation has since grown to include four National Choirs, a growing network of Area Choirs, Mini Music Makers classes and a broad range of educational projects. The Awarding Authority is now a highly respected arts organisation both for its contribution to youth arts participation and for the quality of its work.
The organisation has grown considerably since its formation as a single choir, and now includes a wide range of activities that the Awarding Authority no longer feel the name ‘National Youth Choir of Scotland’ adequately represents. The Awarding Authority wish to increase recognition of the organisation and the breadth of its work, as well as strengthen the profile of each choir/activity. Additionally, The Awarding Authority would like to widen our appeal, challenge perceptions and represent the Awarding Authority ethos.
The Awarding Authority are seeking one or more external partners to support and guide us in rebranding and creating a strategy that informs all of our communications across platforms, channels and activities, including the development of a new website.
