Later this year Aberdeen City Council (ACC) will be undertaking a tender exercise to award a contract for the planned and reactive maintenance and repair works to gas heating systems, general gas appliances and solar/air source heat pump systems across their estate of 16,884 social housing properties.
As part of this process we would like to invite all interested suppliers to join us for a supplier engagement event on Friday 27th January at 10:00 in the Council’s Town House building (Union Street entrance) to find out more about the tender and the requirements of ACC. The structure and format of the tender has not yet been finalised therefore feedback from the market to our proposals would be welcomed.
Through current arrangements, ACC have achieved a 100 % gas safety check rate for all its properties with gas appliances. This is something ACC are committed to upholding, as is our drive to expand training in this field to both the external supply base and our internal teams.
