Sub-Contractors who hold Achilles Building Confidence certification are preferred to those who don’t however a full Health & Safety questionnaire may be completed and reviewed for those who do not but whom are of interest to the Project. Please indicate and provide evidence when notifying Compete For of your interest.
You should have experience on station works and in particular a proven track record for the type of works detailed in the specific scope details of the package. Ideally you will provide a past project history list and references relating to these works. Your company must have an acceptable approach to health, safety and the environment as well as committment to responsible and ethical procurement. You must be able to demonstrate valid and current insurance certification for your company.
Your company’s financial status will be reviewed and reference made to the anticipated value of the sub-contract works. Your current secured order book as well as potential future order book (particularly relating to Crossrail works) will be interrogated as surety of availability of manufacturing and installation resource is a major factor in the selection process.
The awarding authority are committed to providing a quality project which meats BREEAM ‘very good’ but at the most competitive market rates. Your shortlisting may not guarantee making it on to the final tender list but full consideration will be given by the procurement and project delivery team.

About the buyer:
The awarding authority are the Main Contractor for the C412 Bond Street Main Station Works, Fit-Out and M&E as part of the Crossrail scheme. The project is #110m and runs until 2018. The works include major civils works to create Eastern and Western ticket halls as well as the main shaft. The awarding authority will then fit out the station enclosure and platform tunnels including providing all MEP installations.
The awarding authority operate stringent pre-qualification checks and the requirements of the tender process ensure only the right sub-contractors are selected for the packages.
