German integrated photonics group Jenoptik will supply spare components for the Patriot integrated air and missile defence system as part of a deal worth more than $35m with the US Government. The contract includes the delivery of spare parts for electric generators, which provide energy to the defence system, as well as engine kits, reset kits and recapitalisation kits.
