4. Description: Ship chartering services. DES CSS/SALMO (Salvage and Marine Operations) team is a key element of the Ministry of Defence UK worldwide marine salvage capability, providing salvage, towing, heavy lift, operational moorings, port clearance and underwater engineering services.
The DES CSS/SALMO department has a requirement to establish a 5-year Framework Agreement (FA) with a Commercial Ship Broker (CSB) to provide the following services to MOD UK (DES Ships Commercial);
1. Spot Market Vessel and Tonnage Chartering Support, world-wide, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day
2. Market Intelligence and Data Analysis, worldwide, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day
3. Training and Continuing Professional Development of personnel
