Leeds-based ACS Stainless Steel Fixings (ACS), a building structural components manufacturer, is planning to build a number of industrial units at Thornes Farm Industrial Estate, part of the Aire Valley Enterprise Zone. The £17m-turnover company purchased six acres of land in the enterprise zone 12 months ago and is set to build a new head office and production facility, totalling 50,000 sq ft. It is now planning to speculatively develop the remaining 45,650 sq ft.ACS has applied for planning permission for a number of trade counters and industrial units ranging from 2,650 to 8,650 sq ft. Property agency Carter Towler will be marketing the new Gateway Trade Park development.
