Total quantity or scope of tender
A total fixed sum of £12,480 (inclusive of VAT) is available for the installation of Natural Flood Management Management measures in Llanarmon yn Ial. Work includes:
Site assessment and scoping of works, including justification for intervention.
Screening of works against flood-risk with reference to topography, soil type, surface flow and gradient.
Screening for Protected Sites, Invasive Non-Native Species, Scheduled Ancient Monuments and Protected Species.
Obtaining all necessary permits and permissions including Ordinary Watercourse Consent and Felling Licence if required.
Construction of minimum 20 Leaky Woody Structures and related NFM measures as appropriate along a 750m stretch of tributary (order 1 and 2 streams).
All work to be completed by 31 March 2026.
