4. Description: The Awarding Authority is seeking to engage suitably experienced and qualified Consultants to enter into a contract for the provision of consultancy services and advice in relation to the valuation of marine, property, land and equipment for insurance, statutory and investment purposes.
The tender is split into 3 lots, for the provision of services as outlined below:
Lot 1
Reinstatement valuations of Marine assets
Deliverables
Attend site to record necessary particulars of the Marine assets
Provide schedules to be used by our Insurers, detailing values as follows:
Infrastructure/building (including site improvements)
Professional fees and local authority charges
Demolition and debris removal
Equipment
Marine Assets: The assets are located across a range of geographical areas, including Gorsewood Drive, Milford Haven, Milford Marina and Docks, Pembroke Port and Ferry Terminal
Lot 2
Reinstatement valuations of property, land and equipment
Deliverables
Attend site to record necessary particulars of the property, land and equipment
Provide schedules to be used by our Insurers, detailing values as follows:
Building (including site improvements)
Professional fees and local authority charges
Demolition and debris removal
Equipment
Property Assets: These are located across a range of geographical areas, including Milford Haven and Pembroke Dock
Lot 3
General valuations for investment properties for inclusion in statutory accounts, for strategic decision making and for banking purposes.
The successful consultant will provide the following:
Reinstatement valuation reports for insurance purposes and advice
A valuation report (in electronic and hard copy format) showing calculations and values suitable for underwriter purposes. The property portfolio and the remaining asset categories will be split and shown separately in the report.
Investment property valuation reports in line with accounting standard FRS102.
Other ad-hoc reports/valuation for strategic or bank purposes.
Bidders must meet the following requirement which represents the minimum requirements of the Port:
Professional membership of RICS and registered Valuer with RICS
