4. Description: The L2 Port Operative Apprenticeship Standard is used by members of 17 (Port and Maritime) Regt RLC. Learners will start their apprenticeship during Initial Trade Training (ITT) (delivered by 73 Trg Sqn, part of DCLPA, at Marchwood) and continue their learning in the Field Army.
Learner throughput for EPA in this contract is anticipated at approximately 21 apprentices per Academic Year (AY). EPA will be conducted at Marchwood, near Southampton (and remotely, if appropriate). By agreement between the AR (Unit) and the EPAO, some EPAs may be conducted in other locations.
