4. Description: Defence Digital Space, Technical Threat Briefing.
On behalf of Awarding Authority, the UK Defence Intelligence team are conducting a Space Technical Threat Brief event on the 20th February 2023 at MOD Main Building, Whitehall, London SW1A 2HB, from 10:00 until 12:00. The purpose of this event is to brief industry on current threats to UK space, particularly in geo-stationary orbit, The material presented will be classified up to TOP SECRET STRAP.
Due to the technical nature of the briefing event, it is not suited to BD staff and should only be attended by suitably cleared technical and engineering staff.
To request attendance at the industry day and to provide names of attendee, please email UKStratComDD-CM-SatcomSKEC-IE@mod.gov.uk by no later than 17:00 on 31st January 2023. Attendance will be confirmed by Defence Digital by no later than 17:00 on 1st of February 2023.
Industry attendance will be limited to 1 attendee per company. All confirmed industry attendees will be required to hold TOP SECRET STRAP security clearance. Instructions on providing this will be detailed in the confirmation.
