4. Description: Sonar 2087 is a Low Frequency Active (LFA) and passive Variable Depth Sonar (VDS), in service in the RN Type 23 Frigates. The Ministry of Defence (The “Authority”) is currently seeking information about options that are available as potential capability upgrades/insertions for Sonar 2087.

An opportunity to integrate product offerings with Thales Sonar technology and demonstrate to MOD (including DE&S, Dstl and NCHQ) as part of Project Spearhead.
