The Authority has a requirement to procure the Service for conducting examinations of the Flexible Hoses listed on the Flexible Hose Register (FHR) at HMS Sultan. This will be a four year Framework Agreement. No business whatsoever is guaranteed under any resulting Framework Agreement or contract. Indeed there is no guarantee that any Framework Agreement or contract will be put in place in relation to this notice. No compensation etc. will be paid if a tender or resulting Framework Agreement is withdrawn for any reason. Bidders should take part in this process only on the basis that they fully understand and accept this position.

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
The Authority has a requirement to procure the Service for conducting examinations of the Flexible Hoses listed on the Flexible Hose Register (FHR) at HMS Sultan. Requirement includes the Supplier to Produce detailed technical engineering reports to summarise the findings of the Flexible Hose Examinations conducted and update the DSMarE (Defence School of Marine Engineering) FHR after examination.

Suppliers must complete a Suitability Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) and submit a tender response by no later than the date and time stated on this notice. This is a one-step Supplier Assessment/Tender process, failure to submit an ITT response by the close date even if you complete an on-line SAQ will render your interest non-compliant.
