The current contract for Ships and boats – Framework Lead is projected to end on 31-AUG-23 and may be available for retender. Provision of Upkeep Management Services for the Commercially Supported Shipping (CSS) Team.
Ships and boats. The Commercially Supported Shipping (CSS) Boats team has a requirement for the provision of upkeep management services in respect of programmed upkeeps/refits and repairs for the following vessels, including but not limited to:
P2000 (Archer Class) Boats – HM Ships Archer, Biter, Blazer, Charger, Dasher, Example, Exploit, Explorer, Express, Pursuer, Puncher, Raider, Ranger, Smiter, Tracker, Trumpeter;
Fast Patrol Vessels (FPV) HM Ships Sabre and Scimitar;
Training Ships HMS Bristol, Sir Tristram, Brecon and Hindostan;
Survey Boat HMS Gleaner;
Ocean Survey Ship HMS SCOTT;
Other boats, less than 50 metres in length;
This requirement will also include the provision of overseeing services for military equipment fits on Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) vessels.

The Contractor shall provide overseeing services (as and when tasked by the Authority) at the premises of the Contract Ship Repairer (CSR) or User location at any United Kingdom (UK) site or overseas, during the period of the upkeep or repair period. Tasks and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
Ensuring that the CSR delivers all that is required by this contract.
Ensuring that only Essential Tasks are added to the CSR’s contract.
For RFA Vessels only:
The Contractor shall, as and when tasked by the Authority, oversee the repair, overhaul, refitting and upgrading of all military equipment fits during Upkeep Periods, ensuring that the Contract Ship Repairer (CSR) complies with all relevant military and Classification regulations and standards.
Additionally:
The Contractor may be required to provide assistance to the Authority in the writing of upkeep specifications.
