The construction of a new building.
The Port Authority of Jamaica plans to develop a master plan.
You should be able to supply the following inputs, project data and reports:
Conceptualise layout of the West and East Harbour Development
Assist in the coordination with key agencies
Presentation of historical/reference documents to literature review
Some of the work scope includes the following:
Mobilisation – this item includes the following subitems:
Power and water supply connections
Sanitation system for workers
Temporary fencing
Transportation and location of key personnel
Transportation and storage place for tools and equipment
Site offices – the contractor shall provide offices for all his site staff and shall include in his facilities for use of the employer
Furniture and fittings. The facilities shall have electrical lighting, air-conditioning, telephone and lavatory facilities. The offices are to be furnished with desk, chairs, stools, cupboard with drawer and shelving. All temporary offices and offices and sheds shall be cleared away from site on completion.
Temporary storage sheds. The contractor shall provide and erect temporary facilities for use by workmen and for the storage and protection of materials including the materials, plant and equipment of sub-contractors and suppliers. Storage for cement shall have floors raised at least 150 mm (6″) above the ground.
