Construction and engineering works for a resilience building project.
The name of the Project is: GOJ/AFP – North Eastern Coastal Resilience Building – Shoreline Protection Works at Annotto Bay (Site 4), St Mary.
Scope of Works
At Site 4 in Annotto Bay, a shingle beach is proposed which will be anchored on either side by groynes. The western end of Site 4 is a proposed box drain and groyne composite, needed to carry the flow from the existing drain in that location out to sea. The eastern end of Site 4 features a curved groyne which will bend into the mouth of the Annotto River. In the 325m shoreline between the 2 groynes there will be shingle placed to facilitate beach creation
You will need to supply construction and engineering services for shoreline protection works.
The works include but are not limited to the following:
excavation of existing material to required grade and laying of geotextile in preparation for
armour stone structure
construction of groyne structures with armour stone boulders in specified locations
placement of appropriate material to backfill between structure location and existing grade
nourishment of specified locations to reclaim land
