Provide social inclusion and gender equality support during a major project.
The Ministry of Urban Development, Energy, Airports, Seaports, Grenadines Affairs, and Local Government wants to procure Social and Gender Specialist (SGS) consultancy services.
They are needed during the Kingstontown Port Modernisation project implementation.
The objective is to provide social inclusion and gender equality support to the project management team. This will ensure compliance with:
the Caribbean Development Bank’s environmental and social safeguards policies
national regulatory requirements
the environmental laws of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
You will collaborate with the Environmental Safeguards specialist to implement elements of Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) and monitor day-to-day activities.
You shall also prepare monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual reports. These should incorporate the specific social and gender impact assessments, monitoring and capacity building activities.
