The aim of the FMA is to maximise the Officer and staff resources available for the effective delivery of policing, by efficiently contributing to a reduction in sickness absence and ill health retirements, through
Ensuring Officers and staff are medically fit for duties.
Contributing to the maintenance of staff wellbeing (physical and mental).
Fulfilling organisational duty of care by providing advice to managers to assist in managing work related health issues.
