The current contract for provision of Biomedical Scientist Training and Placements – Recurrent Lead is projected to end on 20-NOV-21 and may be available for retender. The Authority has a requirement for the provision of military BMS Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration training pathway. The proposed Framework Agreement shall be for a period covering 3 intakes completing the full degree programme starting autumn 2018 in conjunction with top modules and/or clinical placements.
The successful Service provider shall provide an Institute of biomedical science (IBMS) accredited BSc (Hons) in Biomedical science / Healthcare science programme and top-up modules and/or registration portfolio clinical placements for in order for military BMS trainees to attain the IBMS Certificate of Competence and HCPC registration.
