Short description of the contract or purchase(s):: Provision of an Integrated Facilities Management contract across the whole Thames Water region. At corporate, water, waste water sites and depots, including office and process buildings, listed buildings, water towers and residential facilities. Approximately 3,500 sites in total.
Programmed and reactive, hard and soft services including but not limited to:
– Mechanical and Electrical;
– Building Fabric;
– Asbestos management (assessment and remedials);
– Legionella management and control;
– Critical environment;
– Fire detection, suppression and alarms systems;
– Low voltage electrical testing and inspection (portable appliance testing);
– Helpdesk and management information systems;
– Security systems (intruder detection, CCTV, access control systems);
– Manned guarding (incl. mobile patrols, dog patrols);
– Cleaning (incl. carpets, hard floors, windows);
– Waste management;
– Post and porterage services;
– Signage;
– Reception and switchboard services;
– Conference room management;
– Health and safety services;
– Energy and utilities management;
– Project work.
Optional services may include:
– Pest control;
– Catering and vending services;
– Grounds maintenance;
– Printing;
– FFFE services;
– Statutory inspection;
– Lift and lifting equipment maintenance.
Assets excluded from these services are:
– Operational and process related assets, plant. fittings and fixtures forming part of the process.
– Operational pipework and mains above and below ground.
Service excluded from the scope are:
– Fixed electrical testing and inspection;
– Lightning protection;
– Reservoir maintenance;
– All communications equipment and cabling.
