Across the PSNI Estate there is a need to capture and preserve recorded video and audio evidence for subsequent examination, presentation and use. These include City Centre CCTV monitoring facilities, CARE suites, Custody Suites and CCTV Perimeter Security installations. At these sites, where live video and audio has been captured to hard disk storage arrays there is frequently a need to preserve and archive specific incidents to more non-volatile media such as CD and DVD (all captured ‘footage’ on the hard disk arrays will be overwritten within a given time frame). The contract period is for 5 years with no possible extensions.
