The current contract for Closed-circuit television cameras – Framework Lead is projected to end on 23-MAR-20 and may be available for retender. CCTV for Fire Appliances.
South Wales Fires and Rescue Service are seeking to appoint an approved service provider to supply and maintain next generation appliance CCTV units for our Fire Appliances. The potential supplier will be required to provide prices for supply only and a supply and installation cost.
The potential supplier will also be required to remove all existing appliance CCTV hardware for WEEE disposal.
This tender covers all required aspects of CCTV hardware and software required for recording, viewing and storing video footage on operational appliances. Other fire service vehicles are not within the scope of this tender.
The outcome of this tender will be that all operational appliances will have new CCTV cameras and/or recording equipment that will last for the foreseeable future. This is explained in more detail in ‘Expected Deliverables’ (within the tender pack).
