A pipeline has been launched for Provision of Alcohol Health Promotion and Expert Support ServiceThe contract start Date is 01 July 2019. Approach to market date is 18 March 2019The Authority is seeking ‘Expressions of Interest’ from suitable qualified and experienced organisations to provide a high-quality alcohol health promotion and an expert advice service. The organisation shall deliver a combination of quality assured alcohol health promotion and risk reduction materials (physical and digital content) to military staff. They will work with Defence Authorities to provide alcohol harm reduction expertise to advise on policy development and service delivery programmes. Two services are required: a range of alcohol health promotion, education, prevention, skills development and early intervention materials. These will be supplied as both physical and digital content, tailored to the needs of Defence both in terms of content and style (imagery and tone). Also, expertise, advice and guidance on clinical, research and general policy developments and may include an international element within the field of alcohol and alcohol related harm reduction.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
