Aviation service provider Gama is to create jobs with a flagship 135,000 sq ft secure facility at Bournemouth International Airport. The new site, which will support about 70 jobs, will add to Gama’s bases at Farnborough Airport and London Oxford Airport.Gama is to transfer its primary turboprop and jet maintenance facilities to Bournemouth from Farnborough and London Oxford during the second half of 2018.The move will provide necessary capacity for expansion of the company’s European ground business, which grew by 20 per cent in 2017, while generating immediate efficiency savings.
