Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Paints, varnishes and mastics. The Defence Support Group DSG, an Executive Agency and Government Trading Fund within the Ministry of Defence, has a requirement for the supply and replenishment service of solvent based and water based Paint and related products. The service is to ensure that a supply of Paint Products is available to DSG workshops at point of use.
DSG workshops are located on 9 sites within 7 different geographical locations within the UK. DSG may increase or decrease the total number of Paint delivery points, and Paint Items held at each stock point, from time to time.
Quality, timely delivery and price are key to DSG’s requirement; DSG is seeking to engage with suppliers who can demonstrate proven experience in operating a highly effective supply chain delivering high quality paint products to Defence standards consistently on time and in full to engineering production workshops especially but not limited to those working within the Defence sector.
