1. General. The current Logistic Supply, Support and Provisioning (LSSP) contract terminates on 31 Mar 19. The BATCIS Support Programme (BSP) Logistic Support Solution is the successor to the LSSP. The LSSP contract provides Logistical Support to the Land Environment Tactical Communications Information Systems equipment portfolio.
2. Vision: An intelligent logistic support solution that provides cost effective, resilient support to the BATCIS equipment portfolio, and positions it ready for the MORPHEUS era of Managed Service Providers (MSP).
3. Scope. The Logistic Support Contract will be capable of providing logistic support to all equipment currently in-service and any future procured BATCIS equipment. This could include, but is not limited to:
a. BCIP 5.5 Baseline.
b. BCIP 5.6 Baseline.
c. Early MORPHEUS equipment procurements.
d. Joint Commanders Remote Viewing Terminal (JCRVT).
e. All Arms Cadet Radio.
f. FALCON — from 2021.
g. TRINITY.
4. Service Requirement. At minimum the service will comprise:
a. Inventory demand service.
b. Integration with MOD LogIS.
c. Secure storage.
d. Management and maintenance of inventory.
e. Transportation.
f. Repair service.
g. Liaison with the BATCIS Support Programme, Engineering Support Solution including but not limited to Obsolescence and Disposal Management.

1. Industry Day. A Defence Contracts Online Bulletin has been released advertising a BATCIS Industry Day to be held at the Defence School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, MOD Lyneham on Friday 5 May 17. An overview of the Logistic Support procurement schedule and areas of expertise of interested will be presented.
2. Industry Dialogue. BATCIS wish to invite potential suppliers to take part in a dialogue ahead of the Industry Day. They are seeking industry experience and expertise to help shape the logistic support vision and requirements to reflect capabilities in the current and future era. Areas of focussed interest include:
a. Intelligent Demand Services.
b. Lean Inventory Management.
c. LogIS and Enterprise Resource Management Systems.
d. Intelligent Storage and, Distribution to the MoD.
e. Transportation and Delivery Solutions.
f. Lean Spares Purchasing Solutions.
g. Open Big Data Management and Exploitation.

4. Companies that provide submissions maybe invited by BATCIS to expand on their experience and expertise in 1-2-1 closed discussion at the Industry Day. Although, it should be noted that participants will not receive any preferential information or knowledge regarding future procurements.
