Objectives: The MOD is seeking multiple Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) to reduce unit electricity costs, limit price volatility risk from its energy portfolio, increase site energy resilience, and supports emission reduction aligned with Government policy​.
PPA Type: Renewable energy supply for up to five sites via onsite direct wire connection​.
Target PPA start date: Target operational dates within FY2027/2208 dependent on site.
Sites: Potential sites may include up to five pilot sites suitable for direct wire connection utilising MOD land, shortlisted from a longlist of ~30 identified sites.
Tenor: Seeking competitive energy prices for 15 to 25 years.
