4. Description: WC1611249 corresponds to the order for carrying out the works designed under WC1149026 to upgrade the Foul Sewer System of Work Stream A. The work will include the following:

– Excavate trench approximately 700 meters in length, 600mm wide and depths varying from 800mm to 4m (Rock content approximately 90%) to accommodate new sewage pipeline installation 315mm diameter.
– Supply and installation of 17 No. New pre-cast Manholes with average depth 2.10 meters and 2.0 meters in diameter.
– Connect new sewage pipeline to existing system by modifying existing manholes at the beginning and at the end of the pipeline.
Project restrictions expected for this project:
– The route of the excavations is passing through a special area of conservation with environmental restrictions as to the width of working space allowed for excavations.
– There is possibility of revealing archaeological remains during the required excavations and an archaeologist would need to oversee the excavation processes.
