This notice is published to advertise a preliminary market engagement exercise being conducted by DIO to assess the interest and capability of the market to provide property management and maintenance services.
The provision of good quality homes for Service personnel and their families is a critical priority for the Ministry of Defence (MOD). The DIO handles around 49,000 homes in the UK on behalf of the MOD and is also responsible for planning for future requirements and targeted improvement Programmes.
DIO is looking to develop a model that promotes best practice in the administration and allocation of properties to Service personnel and their families and the management and completion of reactive repairs and statutory and mandatory maintenance of Service Family Accommodation throughout the UK.
DIO would like to invite interested parties to register their interest in this opportunity and respond to the questions set out in the attached survey.
