4. Description: NHMDV requirements are as follows:
A single vial, used for multi-dose administration of 10 doses each containing 10mg Naloxone Hydrochloride.
at a Concentration of:
Minimum threshold requirement: 5mg/ml.
Optimum requirement: 10mg/ml.
Quantity: 300 vials per order.Target minimum shelf life of 3 years when stored in an ambient environment of 18-25oC.
Replenishment in line with shelf life to maintain supply and stock readiness.
Ability to supply-on-demand to enable the end-user to maintain a minimum stock level.
Supply required for a minimum of 10 years or until the capability is reviewed.
Manufactured according to cGMP standards.
Unlicensed status acceptable initially with a view to proceeding to marketing authorisation.
In addition to confirming the above requirements can be met, the following information is required
Indicative pricing (including any variances against different order quantities) and availability for delivery for 300 Vials in the coming 12 – 24 months from the date of this RFI;
Outline timescales for delivery;
Licensing status in country of origin or any other restrictions that may apply to export to and use in the UK;
The MOD is only seeking information from industry at this stage on availability and basic technical information of potential NHMDV solutions that meet or exceed the requirements listed above.
Submissions with product data sheets are initially invited. Promising and appropriate responses may be followed up by a meeting to discuss the requirement further.
