On the basis of the observations and recommendations in the Commission’s 2022 implementation report, and with the input of a ‘steering group’ of experts from the Member States and other stakeholders, the study to be contracted will further analyse and benchmark the different Member States’ implementation approaches in a selected number of areas of the Directive. It will develop the content and strategies to respond to the Commission’s recommendations in order to promote more common, consistent and effective approaches at the EU-level. Where relevant, the analysis shall also take into account issues and lessons from the Fukushima accident, and the EU stress tests implementation and its follow-up.
