4. Description: BAE Systems Air have a long and proud heritage in the development, manufacture upgrade and support of world-leading combat and fast jet trainer aircraft.

We operate across the globe, in multiple markets to support our customers – supporting them across the whole life cycle of the air sector – from design, development and production, through to provision of aircraft, training, support and maintenance.

To achieve this we collaborate with partners large and small, from within and beyond the defence sector both from the UK and around the globe. Our international Air sector enables even greater collaboration, as we work with agility and focus in support of our customers.

The Air Sector are currently developing a Supply Chain Capability Portal, which will be utilised to understand alignment between the supply chain and potential customer requirements, thus directing future engagement across a number of projects. Initially the Portal is capturing supply chain information in the following system areas; Displays & Controls, Electrical Power System, Flight Control System, Thermal Management, Communication Systems, Navigation, Computing and Landing Gear.

If you feel your company has current or future capability to support the above system areas, we would welcome your engagement to assess your potential to participate in a generic Request for Information (RFI).

Please contact the BAE Systems Air Capability & Equipment (AC&E) Category Management Team for further information at aircapabilityportal@baesystems.com
