An airline authority has invited an EOI for a flight planning system and associated services.
The airline is engaged in the business of air transportation of passengers, cargo and related activities.
The flight planning system you provide should be able to:
auto generate a computerised flight plan and all associated dispatch documents along with the briefing package
instantly auto generate a route
generate a flight plan on the most economical and safe route
general Euro control, North Atlantic High Level Airspace (NAT HLM), Polar and Pacific Organised Track System (PACOT) compliant routes
update a Notice to Airmen (NTA) restriction as soon as it is issued and provide a flight plan on a restriction free route
generate an unlimited number of flight plans at a fixed charge
It will also need to:
generate an escape route along with map view in flight plan where applicable
show one engine inoperative drift down altitude and grid minimum off-route altitude in the flight plan
show approach climb limited take-off weight, runway take off weight and landing limited take-off weight in the flight plan
avoid bad weather scenarios on auto generated routes
count overfly charges for economy route calculation including a country wise breakdown of updated overfly charge involvement in the flight plan
have a mobile device based application for the pilots to receive briefing package
provide a North Atlantic track message as soon as it is generated by the appropriate authority
have Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitor (RAIM) check capability for generating routes
You will need to:
have an Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunication Network (AFTN) channel for submitting flight plans, and sending and receiving messages using your own AFTN address
provide 4D aircraft tracking facilities
