About the work

Who the specialist will work with Civilian, Military and contractors within the MOD and wider Defence industry.
What the specialist will work on This role is to support the C4ISR Programme Manager in any reports and returns/activities that need to be completed and expected, to provide project scheduling updates in consultation with the Project Manager within the team and ensure that the appropriate project controls are in place for scheduling to ensure the schedules are Defence Digital compliant.
Working arrangements The successful candidate will need to work between 4 and 5 days per week. The working day is 8 hours to include 30 minutes for break. Some work may be conducted at other MOD and industry partner sites in the UK. Opportunities for home working are available. This individual will report to the C4ISR Programme Manager in ASDT.
Security clearance Valid SC clearance must be in place prior to the contract starting and for the duration of the contract due to the projects the individual is required to work with.

Give an example of Expert level usage of Microsoft Project-On-Line with experience of developing and maintaining an Integrated Master schedule of multiple projects including linking dependencies,baselining,&tracking (10 Points)
Demonstrate recent experience of working within a large-scale IT software & hardware multi-year delivery programme in the last 5 years (10 Points)
Demonstrate experience and knowledge in Agile scheduling, including leading Scrum reporting, managing Kanban boards, representing prioritisation of work and backlogs (10 Points)
Conformation of Expertise in MoD Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) application and processes and presenting results to support business cases (5 Points)
Experience of adherence to MoD Defence Digital EPMO scheduling policies and standards (5 Points)
Give an example of generating, analysing, and presenting accurate and current reporting including High light reports (HLR) and Business Progress Reports (BPR)(5 Points)
Demonstrate experience of tracking supplier payment planning and creating financial views to support MoD financial outcome planning (FOO) (10 Points)
Give recent experience of incorporating MoD ISP Agreement Plans and Demands into schedules (5 Points)
Provide an example of your ability of managing project management product and artefacts and configuration control (5 Points)
Expertise of organising, preparing, and running monthly Programme Reviews with reference to the scheduling for the Programme manager (5 Points)
Workshopping: illustrate your ability to lead small to medium sized groups of stakeholders to extract relevant schedule information to feed into schedules (5 Points)
Give an example of your understanding regarding programme objectives and risk (use of ARM) and proactively linking these to scheduling (5 Points)
